Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Saint Xavier University and a postgraduate certificate in Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. With over 10 years of experience working with students on the autism spectrum, other developmental and intellectual disabilities, and behavioral disorders, she has a wealth of knowledge in the field.
Rebecca began her career providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services directly to individuals in home, center, school, and community settings for 6 years. She then worked as a Clinician BCBA for a national ABA company for 2 years, where she was responsible for training and coordinating Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Currently, Rebecca is an Instructional Coach for Niles Township District of Special Education. In this role, she provides professional development, training, and ongoing support to special education teams in preschool through 8th grade classrooms. She helps teachers and teams utilize evidence-based practices, create curriculum resources and programs, and provide supports for students. Additionally, Rebecca oversees Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training cohorts and provides ongoing RBT supervision.
Rebecca’s passion for the science of behavior has led her to establish Achievability Coach, where she disseminates her knowledge and provides families and staff working with individuals with disabilities with tools to improve learning, communication, and independent skills.
